Hello, and welcome to the Kineviz Community! Our goal for this forum is to create a friendly and productive environment where you can get questions answered, share expertise, and be inspired. Please help us to keep the forum fun and informative by observing a few simple guidelines.

    • Please be polite. If you wouldn’t say it to someone’s face, don’t post it either. Name calling, threats, discriminatory language, and inflammatory behavior will not be tolerated.

    • Please be patient. We’re a small team and won’t always be able to respond to you as quickly as we’d like. The same goes for your fellow users—they may be in different time zones, under time pressure, or otherwise limited in how much time they can devote to the discussion.

    • Please be conscientious. Most of our users handle data that can have severe legal, if not life-and-death, consequences if misused. Never request or share sensitive/confidential information.

Be aware, our moderators reserve the right to remove any content they deem offensive or users they identify as disruptive. The following activities will result in having your post(s) removed and/or expulsion from the forum:

    • Spamming: Don’t do it! Repeat posting is unproductive and unwelcome. This includes posting the same content in multiple forums.

    • Multiple accounts, throwaway emails, bots: Users are limited to a single account. If you need to post something via a disposable account or bot, you shouldn’t be posting it.

    • Advertising/Self Promotion: Please only post about a product or service you offer if it’s directly relevant to another user’s question or request.

    • Personal attacks: Never insult, accuse, or threaten another user.

    • Doxxing: Never share someone else’s personal information. Doing so may expose you to legal action.

    • Leaking: Do not post confidential information, personal identifying information, or IP that isn’t your own.

    • Illegal activities: Discussion of illegal activities is restricted to the forensics forum for purposes of identifying/combatting such activities. All other discussion of illegal activities (links to pirated downloads, workarounds for stealing services, etc.) is prohibited.

    • NSFW content: Pornography, gore, extreme language, and anything you’d be embarrassed to show your parents are off limit.

    • Racism, sexism, discrimination: We have zero tolerance for hate speech. If something might be considered offensive, safer to assume it is and not post it.

    • Trolling: Trolling is hard to define, but we all know it when we see it. If you have to ask yourself, “could this be considered trolling?” then it probably isn’t worth risking.

    • Spreading misinformation: Conspiracy theories, obvious falsehoods, and propaganda are not welcome here. Impersonating someone you’re not falls into this bucket as well.

Hopefully none of these ever become an issue on this forum. Help us keep the conversation positive, and please don’t engage if you see someone else posting inappropriately—notify the moderators and we’ll address the issue to the best of our abilities.

Whew! Glad that’s all out of the way. Now—let’s get graphing!
